My colleagues Inga-Maria Eichentopf, Vanessa Herrmann, and I will be presenting at the Conference of the Society for Social Studies of Science
on September 4-6, 2025. My presentation will be dealing with narratives about LLMs like ChatGPT and the "Californian Ideology".

A team of the IKKS took part in the Forum Wissenschaftskommunikation (Forum Science Communication) held at Urania Berlin in December 2024. Especially the keynote of Prof. Dr. David Kaldewey (University of Bonn) on Science Communication in a "crisis of the facticity" was a jewel of complexity in times of simple answers.
After the kick-off meeting at Chania (Crete), the team met for the second time in person in October 2024 at the University of Petrosani to discuss the next steps of the EU funded project, which runs from 2024 to 2028. Within the project, our group of Mittweida University of Applied Science is responsible for science communication. More to come soon.
